Wrap up the kids and leave your cares behind as we invite you to re awaken the magic of Christmas

A trip to the market is a festive experience like no other and this year we invite you to immerse yourselves in this winter wonderland; marvel at the glittering lights, soak up the festive music, and lose yourselves in a world of colour, merriment and mirth.

Top off your trip with the little ones by paying a visit to the man in red himself. 


Please note that visits to Santa MUST be booked in advance. 

Santa's Cabin is located in The Galway Christmas Market, Eyre Square, Galway.  It is on the main plaza, between The Browne Doorway and the Christmas Tree.


Off-peak hours for those with vulnerabilities and/or additional sensory requirements are available by direct appointment.

Your ticket includes craic with Santa's Chief elf, a visit with Santa, and a present. 

Certain time slots fill up very quickly, if you have any difficulty securing your preferred time we suggest that you try another time slot

Friday: 4pm to 8pm
Saturday: 11 am to 8 pm
Sunday: 11 am to 7:30pm
